NAESCO Helps Schools Chart a Path to Net-Zero

On Tuesday, April 22, the National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO) joined Southern California Edison (SCE), New Buildings Institute, and other field practitioners to lead a pre-conference workshop titled "A, B, C, Decarb: Plan, Fund, and Succeed!" This hands-on session, part of the Getting to Net Zero Forum, focused on empowering school districts with the tools and strategies needed to achieve operational decarbonization.

NAESCO Executive Director Timothy Unruh participated in an interactive workshop to help dispel common myths, share success stories from net-zero energy school projects, and guide participants through actionable planning tools. With a strong focus on funding pathways and implementation strategies, the session offered school district staff a unique opportunity to connect, collaborate, and leave with practical next steps for their buildings and campuses.
