EBTRON Releases New Application-Driven Smart Display Increases Functionality and Provides a Single Access Point for Up to 16 Measurement Devices
Loris, South Carolina — EBTRON is proud to introduce the IAQ Enforcer™ System SDX-1000 EB-Bus Ethernet Smart Display Panel (SDP), marking a significant advancement in building management. This innovation provides a comprehensive solution for accessing, monitoring, configuring, and validating up to 16 measurement devices. Devices with multiple sensor measurements are considered a single device.
Installing transmitters to be easily accessible for configuration and viewing from the floor level often requires expensive extended cable lengths for the airflow measuring probes. SDX-1000 smart display eliminates this need by providing a single access point with enhanced functionality. It bidirectionally communicates with 16 devices installed throughout the building, offering unparalleled functionality and viewable information.
The SDX-1000 features a tablet/phone-style interface with factory-installed applications that can be updated or added over time using a USB flash device. The 7-inch diagonal capacitive touch full-color display ensures a clear and intuitive interface. A dedicated Ethernet network connected via Cat5e or higher speed cable through an ethernet switch provides a robust and inexpensive connection to approved ethernet-ready measurement devices. EBTRON Gold Series transmitters have the ability to connect to the building automation system (BAS) through analog connections while also communicating with the SDX-1000. Future products will allow expanded dual communication capability.
