Eleven Companies Earn Industry-Leading Accreditation from the National Association of Energy Service Companies
WASHINGTON, DC., January 23, 2024 - The National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO), the leading advocacy and accreditation association representing companies modernizing the nation's building infrastructure through energy efficiency projects, announces the accreditation of eleven companies. These companies have demonstrated the highest levels of professionalism, technical expertise, and ethical standards, making them exemplary partners for building infrastructure and energy efficiency projects.
NAESCO's rigorous accreditation process involves a comprehensive evaluation of a company's technical and managerial competencies. Three categories of accreditation are offered: Energy Service Company (ESCO), Energy Service Provider (ESP), and Energy Efficiency Contractor (EEC).
All applications are subjected to a rigorous evaluation by an unbiased committee comprised of industry experts. This process guarantees a comprehensive assessment of their fundamental skills and business methodologies. The committee looks at criteria such as the precise nature of the applicant's business, the range of measures and services offered to customers, the availability of a performance-based project approach and the applicants ethical business practice commitment.
Following the fall 2023 application review, nine companies have successfully secured re-accreditation, while two companies have obtained accreditation for the first time.
