We focus on quality assurance for alternatively financed projects including Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs), a role we have been hired to perform over 200 times nationwide, overseeing all of the major Energy Service Companies (ESCOs). EES also advises clients on P3/Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) projects, and we support clients in maximizing energy efficiency using Monitoring-Based Commissioning (MBCx), energy design reviews of new facilities, planning, developing and overseeing resilience/microgrid and street lighting projects, and developing/reviewing Commercial PACE projects. We also provide EM&V services to utilities. We are Subject Matter Experts in many energy technologies Including: building automation systems, building analytics, lighting, chiller/boiler plants, solar PV, battery storage, and CHP. EES identifies and mitigates potential client risks, helps clients solicit competitive solutions from the marketplace, negotiates contracts that deliver greatest value, and provides quality assurance on contractors during implementation, all to achieve optimal results. EES’s staff personnel have negotiated, sold, managed, engineered, commissioned, monitored, and verified over $2.5 billion worth of energy efficiency related projects. We have a combined 200+ years of experience in the design, analysis, and implementation of energy efficiency, O&M improvements, and retrofit projects. We have helped secure over $150 million in government and utility grants, rebates, and incentives for our clients in 35 states. We are vendor neutral, technology agnostic and fiercely independent. We help our clients define their needs, procure solutions from the marketplace, solicit, and select contractors, and provide quality assurance on those projects.
