Russell Clarke is a vice president in the energy solutions & cleantech practice. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory services and capital formation for energy solutions and cleantech companies. His practices include energy efficiency providers, energy service companies, consulting engineers, distributed generation, electric vehicle infrastructure and utility infrastructure services firms and other energy transition-focused businesses.

Russell started with FMI Capital Advisors as an investment banking analyst in the energy services and cleantech group. He also previously worked in Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Global Industrials Group.

Andrew Henderson

Andrew Henderson is a director in the Energy Solutions & Cleantech practice. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory services and capital formation for energy solutions and cleantech companies. His practices include energy efficiency and energy services companies, building optimization, distributed energy resources, energy management, utility demand-side management, smart grids and other energy transition-focused businesses.

Before coming to FMI, Andrew worked with UBS in its technology, media and telecommunications investment banking group in New York. He also was a senior consultant for Ernst & Young focused on risk assessment and process improvement advisory for clients across all sectors.

Michael Nenni

Owner, Nenni & Associates

Michael Nenni has been a Servant Leader in the Energy Services industry for 31 years partnering with clients specializing in HVAC and ESPC to Renewable Energy and Project Finance. Michael and his team have been able to help companies build their teams by identifying industry professionals ranging from Sales Engineers to C-Level Executives.  In addition to Executive Search, the industry has turned to Michael for consulting services including market intelligence, compensation analysis reports, and identification of acquisition targets.

Jim Schafer

Managing Partner, Nenni & Associates

Jim Schafer started his career with Nenni in 2009 and has been leading a team focused on our Lighting and Renewable Energy  business units. In his new role as Managing Partner, Jim focuses on new marketing initiatives, effectively expanding the Nenni brand. Additionally, he utilizes his decade of sales experience to implement internal sales training best practices. While in this role, Jim will continue to lead a team and serve his core clients.

Jim holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Illinois University. He is an active participant in NAESCO.

Francis Wheeler

Executive Vice President, Envocore

Francis Wheeler, Executive Vice President of Envocore and co-founder of Water Savers, LLC., is a recognized industry leader. Francis brings nearly 25 years of industry expertise and progressive business management experience including profit and loss responsibility, operational oversight, a keen eye for talent and especially a laser focus on team building. He has been involved in several merger and acquisition transactions. Prior to founding Water Savers Francis has worked for multiple water efficiency companies as well as a fortune 50 energy services company (ESCO). Before delving headfirst into the ESCO/water efficiency business, Francis served 12 years in the Marines and was a Chief of Information & Personnel Security at HQ United States Marine Corps. Francis attended the University of Maryland.
